Hospital Visits

November is not a good month for us. We went to the ER three times to bring Tryphena.

Tryphena at Children’s Hospital

The first time we went to the ER on Friday the 9th for bacteria infection and high temperature (104+). They admitted us right away due to the fear that it was MRSA infection and it could spread to other organs. We stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and were discharged on Sunday afternoon.

She was recovering well and she was almost fully recovered when on Tuesday the 25th she ran high temperature again. Indra called the doctor and was told to keep an eye on her. Around 2 at night on Wednesday morning her temperature was well in the range of 104’s. We rushed back to the children’s hospital and they adminstered a dose of Tylenol and a dose of Motrin. We left the hospital at 6:15 on Wednesday morning. Tryphena’s temperature was under 100, so I went to work. At 8:30 her temperature raised back to the 104 range and she had what looked like seizures for more than three minutes. Indra called 911 and they took her back to the ER. I left work and rushed back to the hospital. We left the hospital around 2 in the afternoon. The doctor said it didn’t look like seizures because when it happened her eyes were closed. When a person has seizures his/her eyes are opened and often times rolled back.

She is now doing well. Thank God, and thanks for all the people in the church who prayed for her.
