Happy Easter to all of you. This is Tryphena’s 4th Easter, and we wondered where the time had gone. Last Saturday she had her pictures taken with Easter bunnies by Milestone Photography. I posted the pictures in the photo album area.
Yesterday we had a good Friday service at church and the sermon was fantastic! Click here to listen. This afternoon we had Easter supper with our neighbors, while the children painted eggs. Tomorrow after the 2nd service we’re going to have Easter luncheon at church, and afterward I plan to finish painting one of the bathrooms.
As we enjoyed our time together with family and friends may we once again remember the true meaning of Easter. In chapter XVI of his 2nd book of “Institutes of the Christian Religion“ Calvin wrote, “For the Son of God, though spotlessly pure, took upon him the disgrace and ignominy of our iniquities, and in return clothed us with his purity.” Happy Easter to all of you!
