Happy Easter to all of you!
Easter is indeed the climax of Christian religion because without the resurrected Christ our faith is futile, and we’re of all people most to be pitied. And if he’s not raised then let us just eat and drink for tomorrow we die. (1 Cor 15). Praise be to God for we know that Christ has indeed risen from the dead; therefore, our faith is not in vain and our hope is sure!
The Heidelberg Catechism, Lord’s Day 17 asks, “What benefit do we receive from the resurrection of Christ?”
Answer: First, by His resurrection He has overcome death, that He might make us partakers of the righteousness which He has obtained for us by His death. Second, by His power we are also now raised up to a new life. Third, the resurrection of Christ is to us a sure pledge of our blessed resurrection.
Happy Easter!
