Tryphena and I went to the dog show last Saturday, 2/2 while Indra was having her hair done. She likes dogs very much, and going to the dog show was a real treat for her. We saw lots of dogs- big ones and small ones. However, we missed the German Shepherd show. When we first got there we met a lady from Shooting Star Shelties with her Shelties. Having told Tryphena about Moonlight, our Sheltie that was stolen on July 4, 2000 now I was able to show her how Moonlight looked like. (the sheltie on the right was from a different kennel)
We saw quite a few English Mastiffs. Duchess was one of them, and she was very friendly to Tryphena. There were Irish Wolfhounds, Poodles, Maltises, Smooth Fox Terriers, St. Bernards, Golden Retrievers, and many other breeds. We ate a sandwich for lunch.
She really enjoyed herself there, and I had a hard time asking her to go home. Several times every day this week she would ask either her mom or I to re-tell the story about the dog show.
